While fishing with his dad. Lil' Garrett Yonce was all geared up and ready. He was sporting his trusty new snoopy fish'n pole. While his dad Gabriel Yonce was trying to show him how it was done; little Garrett was doing it his own way. When Gabriel stated; No! Not like that son! Before daddy could say another word a bass almost as big as he was snatched his line. He was doing all he could do until daddy came to his rescue. I am sure if he could he would have told his daddy; Now that is how it is done! Instead he just showed him. I was asked to help with the archery event at the ..... Certified Master Wild-lifer's As of March 15th 2005 two of our field team members were certified in the Master Wild-lifer course given through Clemson University. The course educated us on the biology and management of small game, the white-tailed deer, and the eastern wild turkey. We also learned more about fishpond management as well as managing wetlands for waterfowl and other wildlife. This course certified us in these areas and gives us the knowledge we need to enhance habitat for a variety of wildlife species so that we can carry this knowledge over to our Youth in the Outdoors Educational Program.
