XO Fish Tale of the Day

Boy Shows Daddy How To Fish

While fishing with his dad. Lil' Garrett Yonce was all geared up and ready. He was sporting his trusty new snoopy fish'n pole. While his dad Gabriel Yonce was trying to show him how it was done; little Garrett  was doing it his own way. When Gabriel stated; No! Not like that son! Before daddy could say another word a bass almost as big as he was snatched his line.  He was doing all he could do until daddy came to his rescue. I am sure if he could he would have told his daddy; Now that is how it is done! Instead he just showed him.           Send  your photo to us at: photosubmit@xtremeoutdoorsmen.com

Gods Word and Hunting.

 What does it Say

Gen. 9: 2-3  The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beast of the earth and all the birds of the air , upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given unto your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants. I now give you everything.

GE 27:30 After Isaac finished blessing him and Jacob had scarcely left his father's presence, his brother Esau came in from hunting. 31 He too prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father. Then he said to him, "My father, sit up and eat some of my game, so that you may give me your blessing."

Bean or Beef?

AC 10:9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."

Acts 10:9-13

Certified Master Wild-lifer's

As of March 15th 2005 two of our XO Team Field Staff members were certified in the Master Wild-lifer course given through  Clemson University. The course educated us on the biology and management of small game, the white-tailed deer, and the eastern wild turkey. We also learned more about fishpond management as well as managing wetlands for waterfowl and other wildlife. This course certified us in these areas and gives us the knowledge we need to enhance habitat for a variety of wildlife species so that we can carry this knowledge over to our Youth in the Outdoors Educational Program.

XOA™ Youth in the Outdoors

What is the Youth in the Outdoors Program? The Youth in the Outdoors Program is a youth program developed by The Xtreme Outdoorsmen Association to help in the continuance of our hunting heritage. The program teaches how to hunt safely along with the skills that go along with hunting and fishing.
